Day 23- Dixie National Forest: Silver Reef

Slept under a mountain of blankets and stayed warm despite very cold night. Left early AM to head south to disperse camp another night near the River sitter who will keep Fern while we bike Zion on Monday (and hike the Narrows).

Pretty drive to north of Zion:

We saw some wind storms along the way.

Found a nice dispersed campsite close to our Rover dog sitter for Fern, just north of Zion. We’ll drop her off early tomorrow and then bike and hike in Zion, the Narrows. Our backpacks are pre-packed now with only what’s needed in dry bags as we’ve read there could be chest deep river crossings.
