Burr trail switchbacks in Capital Reef National Park, Jason’s new favorite NP. Saw most beautiful lands with Canyons on both sides, followed by giant holes in the earth.

Lake Powell was closed for the season. We want to come back and rent a houseboat here!  Hite had a dirt airstrip in Canyonland. We crossed the muddy Colorado River, which is kinda puny here. It was one of the most beautiful of our many beautiful drives on this trip.
We had to take a detour towards Mexican Hat because of a closed road.
